I'm sincerely sad to see angry comments. Over the past half a year, Twitch has finally begun to catch up with large platforms. I've been streaming for 6 years and I've been hearing the same thing all 6 years: "twitch doesn't improve, it doesn't introduce new features, it's impossible for small channels to grow."
Finally there is an opportunity to catch up with other platforms at least a little - everyone is dissatisfied again.
Someone wrote that twitch is not a tik-tok or instagram. Exactly! Twitch did not stand next to the platforms that make it possible to make any content and grow.
"Oh no, twitch will turn into a tiktok!" You said.
Yes, I will be happy if twitch gets at least a little closer to the success of tiktok! Why should I make content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and a hundred other platforms to bring at least a few people where there is nothing but live broadcasts. Any other platform has tools to engage the audience, but not on twitch. We have a hypetrain for making money for big streamers and a complete lack of prospects for the little ones.
Vertical videos and stories are a trend that the Internet has been living for the past few years, whether you want it or not. Let the twitch grow, let it try new functions! And stop whining that it used to be better and that stories take up too much space!
