@RAM419, that was really helpful. I have an older macbook pro 2014 with the latest Big Sur OS - works sometimes. Best way is to get the "Twitch Alternative Player" for your browser of choice.

Please allow users to downgrade the app or just trash the new one. The old one did not have any streaming / buffering issues - the new one just constantly rebuffers the sound.

So so true. Audio is skipping / rebuffering all the time even on 4k AppleTV. The device has built in support for audio and video and you still manage to get it buffering. PLEASE FIX IT!

Thank you for your report. We realize the recent experience with different apps, including Apple TV might be frustrating, and we do apologize for that. An underlying change in the technology used to power the Twitch TV application on Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Xbox Series X/S devices required us to rewrite those applications, resulting in reduced functionality and features. This is annyoing as ****, and as said before Firefox does not support / do this when changing tabs. The biggest gripe is that when you are listening to a stream the audio quality degrades also at the same time when the video lowers to 160-360p. Please find a solution to end this nonsense.
