AI slop does not belong in a Creative space!
Want to Keep AI? Address the issues. To make it easy on you, here's Five things that need to be done before AI can be even remotely acceptable.
1. Massively reduce the water and power consumption
2. Train only on public domain and willingly donated content, not stolen content.
3. Introduce regulations to prevent people from creating things such as Deepfakes and things that rhyme with "Mild Corn", and properly punish those who do use it to create such things.
4. STOP FORCING IT INTO EVERYTHING! AI does not need to be in my Car, in my Toothbrush, or in so many other things! Give people the ability to say NO to AI being installed on their device!
5. Reduce the number of Datacenters being built, and stop building them in marginalized communities and areas that are already struggling with water consumption. Put them in space if you really need too, just chill with them on earth.
Do all that and we can keep the genie out of the bottle as you AI sloppers like to say so much. Until then though, AI is not and will never be acceptable. especially in creative spaces.
