This is awful and I'm so sorry that you were a victim of doxxing, as well as the complete lack of action or communication from Twitch. This is a Trust & Safety issue, if we cannot trust the platform to protect us to a reasonable degree then we cannot continue to risk our personal safety by streaming on Twitch.

Using generative AI for the category thumbnails is an insult to the massive community of artists and designers who create emotes, thumbnails, illustrations, and basically every visual element on Twitch. This is totally unecessary and tone deaf change that sends the message that Twitch would rather save a penny by using Adobe genAI stock photos and hurt its own branding instead of hiring artists to build it up.
Why do you think Steam hired nemupan and a small team of artists to create the Steam sale girl and the illustrations for their big sales two years in a row?
