Why can't see follower's stream title without loading up the streams one by one?
And why can't I restrict my home page to only streams I follow? I follow them because I want to watch them. I don't follow other people because I don't want to follow them. 99% of the time I'm not interested in discovery. I've got a decade of people I like to watch and I discover new people through those people, not by having twitch throw a random one at me based on an algorithm
Exactly this. My priorities are first to see what my followed streams are doing before I'll even consider watching someone new.
Without the context of the stream title, then all I have to go off of is the game category. The streams I follow have many, many different game subcategories (speedrun category, deathless, hitless, randomizer, casual ect, ect, ect). Now I have a much harder time knowing who I want to watch. Looking at every stream individually is a huge pain.
It might be better if the home screen previews at least stayed on the people I follow, but even that isn't the best format. The old format was much better in this area and should be brought back.
