This started happening for me on my Samsung tablet earlier this week after an update. It's no longer keeping the screen awake, after 2 minutes the screen suddenly turns off while viewing live streams, basically rendering it useless. I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, verified that Google privacy hasn't turned off any permissions (specifically keep screen awake), looks like it's the app.

We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I dislike the new reply feature, it makes text non-selectable meaning it's completely broken cut and paste for things like raid messages.

The AI training was the final straw. Every streamer I know now has such an incredibly negative opinion of Twitch it could not be lower at this point. It's just going to take the slightest spark of an alternative and the Twitch platform is going to burn to a lifeless cinder, like so many other platforms before it. Marking this as the moment you jumped the shark.
