Why does Twitch have ads? Oh right, because it costs money to run their service, which you expect to use for free. The only thing that's disappointing here is your sense of entitlement, "Disappointed Twitch viewer".

The solution to this is use Twitch Turbo or Twitch Prime.

Ultimately Twitch just wants more money. More time you spend on it means more money they get (ads), view numbers, etc.
Implementing this feature wouldn't benefit them. Your user experience only matters if it will net them more money.

You should support FFZ if you care about your user experience and push these types of requests onto them.
