It is insanely slow - my videos are long and heavy, if I were to use this platform as my primary upload platform... let's just say it isn't possible ATM

I agree - right now, I have my follower emotes as animated emotes so that my subs get an upgraded version and can use them across other channels.
At the very least, follower emotes should be usable by subs in other channels!!
