Updating this thread since it just happened to me too 2 days ago: I got my 90+ day watch streak reset in a night without getting notified, even though I did not miss even a single stream. Was using both Firefox and Chrome browsers.
The way "Twitch support" (which is just a bot wasting your time by regurgitating the same 3 articles every time) completely mocked this by saying "Just write in the UserVoiceForum. We'll keep your watch streak h ostage :) even though we cant manually do anything about it at all, so soooorry ;_; If you get enough pple write abt this maaaabye we'll totally do something! lol ;))" even though multiple threads with mutiple pple have already written here...
Totally cool, if there's a problem ONLY fix it if "enough" thousands of people start making a riot. If it's only a "few" viewers (lol even subscribers or streamers in some cases) having issues then let them get bent.
