I have had this issue too! I streamed Super Mario Bros Wonder yesterday as well as a bunch of short Sonic fan game demos. The Sonic stuff was fine, but the Super Mario Bros Wonder part was muted by a claimant named Roli who had no association with that game's development and no association with Nintendo at all.
To make things stranger, I listened to that part of the VOD, and the part of it that was mute wasn't even the game audio. The game game was claimed, but MY VOICE was what was muted. I wasn't even attempting to beatbox anything either. I was just talking! I got literally silenced by someone abusing the DMCA claim system!
I know this suggestion is a bit old, but I wanted to add that the copyright system does need a way to request manual reviews to stop abuse or to correct mistakes like in the OP's case. A VOD of mine got partially muted because the bot thought MY VOICE was Super Mario Bros Wonder music. I figured this out by listening to part of the VOD that got muted, and the game audio was still present just not my own voice for the entirety of that time that I streamed that game. The claim was also done by a third party not even associated with Nintendo. Nintendo themselves are okay with people streaming that game too.
