This is an ugly and unintuitive change, why?

I'm gonna be honest I really despise this new app update overall, it's hard to get into how little I like it. It'd harder to view what I like, I can't view channels I want that aren't live, I can't view my own stuff as easily. It's insanely bad and near useless unless I click a notification to join a stream I see.

I can't sort, I can't see what I want, it auto plays, no p.i.p when searching, and it's lost functionality as a streamer myself. Just terrible.
