F**K your AI bull****. Nobody wants this trash. And to insult your entire user-base by shoehorning this useless slop into the platform after raising sub prices? All while actual needed improvements and features continue to go ignored? Twitch sucks. The best thing any of us could do is simply stop using this garbage platform. They dont care. They dont!
There are multiple existing AI-related complaints on here that have gone ignored for over a year. From using generated thumbnails even for the art category to AI summaries (which btw, should have clued everyone in to the fact that they were using AI to monitor your streams/chat) and only well after it's implementation do they sneak in an AI-training opt-out thats enabled by default and then post confusing and incorrect instructions to disable it. Twitch is a scumbag company. Perhaps we can all reconcile this fact finally?

Enshitification continues. Well done, Twitch. Disappointing as always.
Oh and over a year later the Art category (and others) are still represented with an AI-generated image. Despite the large showing of disapproval - particularly from the Twitch Artist community. Twitch hasn't even acknowledged this matter after all of this time. Just in case anyone was wondering if Twitch cares about their creators. They do not.

Over 7500 votes, 70 pages of comments and not a word of acknowledgement from Twitch. Can we stop pretending this platform cares about its creators now? Because they make it absolutely obvious that they do not.

Really Twitch? Did you think you could just squeak this one through? You have access to a bounty of incredibly talented artists - artists who would love the opportunity to design graphics for your platform and you looked right past them and went with the worst possible option? This is just lazy, disrespectful and, imo, further demonstrates Twitch's complete lack of regard for the creators that make their platform what it is. Do better.

Cancelled every single one of my subs and asked my viewers to do the same on my channel. Whether or not I even continue to stream on this garbage platform remains to be seen - the reality is there are no good streaming options but somehow Twitch is doing a bang-up job of making the gambling site look like the good guys. That's a tall order and yet here we are - Twitch continuing to be absolute scum that belligerently disrespects its creators and viewers.
For those hoping Twitch will "do better" - let me save you some time...they will not. This is fundamentally how Twitch has operated for years - placating to the community how much they care while actively demonstrating the opposite. Remember how they raised sub prices MULTIPLE times in the past couple of years? And for what? The mobile app is still a travesty - features across mobile and desktop still remain inconsistent. There are lists of long-requested features and fixes requested by large portions of creators/viewers that have gone ignored. And yet they seem to have all the resources in the world to shove in this AI bull**** that nobody wanted. From AI-generated slop thumbnails for categories (INCLUDING THE ART CATEGORY), to AI stream summaries that should have clued everyone in that they were using AI to skim our streams and chat, to this blatant theft used for "training" their AI models.
I cannot wait for this AI bubble to burst and these tech bro weirdos look like the absolute dipsh*ts that they are. Exposed to the world. Until then, spare us your nonsense and stop trying to cram this useless, obnoxious trash in our faces at every turn.
