This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. The mobile app interface updated has caused me to quit watching twitch. I watch twitch on my phone 95% of the time. I don’t wanna see channels I have never followed or categories of content that I have never been interested in or watch. I don’t need to watch random girls twerking or a guy streaming him acting like a middle schooler. The “following” tab is bad. The stream thumbnails are gone so I can’t see what the streamer is currently doing on stream and it’s all random order. I get on twitch to watch long form video. Not “TikTok” clips of streams. Especially not clips for streams I don’t follow and never have.
