This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

don't have view on all the persons I follow to select the one I want to watch... impossible to view my following categories ... i hate auto play
if you want to make app better, allow bttv extensions, allow multiple "tab" streams at the same time ( easier to switch from multiple streamers and keep chat)
new app is poiness
I was thinking along similar lines: adding a star system (with a default of 3 stars and the option to rate from 1 to 5 stars) for your followed channels. This way, you can view the channels you've rated with the most stars at the top. It will encourage you to follow more people while still allowing you to keep track of your favorite channels. The channels will be sorted by the number of stars in the sidebar section "For You" -> "Followed Channels." Additionally, this system would allow you to prioritize smaller or less popular channels that you particularly enjoy.
