This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. 1. Where are the followed categories? I don't want some algorithm to recommend me what's popular or what it thinks I want to watch, I want to watch games I want to watch, and there are so many that it is difficult to recall at any time. I want to know whether there are viewers or not even if there is nobody streaming these games. Don't replace followed categories with recommendation algorithms even if it is so called predictive. Also, no need to improve prediction models and so on, just bring back followed categories.
2. Scrolling on the new app is frustrating. I want to scroll down through the Home tab and the Browse tab but it keeps taking me sideways instead (From Live to Clips or from Categories to Live Channels). I have to swipe upwards multiple times for it to scroll down. Also, scrolling upwards on Following Channels dismisses the panel instead of scrolling
3. Back button is not intuitive. I am currently on Browse or Activity. I tap the Profile tab, then I tap the Android back button. It takes me to the Home tab instead of the tab I was at previously (Browse or Activity). Please make it go back to the previous tab instead of Home, thanks
4. Where is the Chromecast feature? I cast streams to a larger screen sometimes because it is easier to follow certain games like strategy games where there is a more complex UI. Or, the TV provides a cinematic experience with a better sound system

I already stated that the Browse > Categories tab is useless because it does not provide me with who is streaming my Followed Categories.
To add on to this problem, I scroll through a list of categories most of them irrelevant to me, then I tap a category I want to check out. When I tap the back button, it takes me to the top of the list of categories again. **And I have to scroll down all over again to where I left off, which I have to remember where I left off** to continue browsing through the categories list, 99% of them I am not interested in.
To reiterate, please don't attempt to recommend what is popular with everyone else or try and predict what I would like to watch, just bring back the followed categories.
