I also had a watch streak reset out of nowhere (69 streams, nice!) for seemingly no reason. Checking the vods of the streamer, I'm seen chatting throughout, certainly in the stream long enough to have the streak continue... only to have it reset on his most recent streams.
If we can't get the system to work, or have tools available to return the streak where it was, it's incredibly discouraging and makes me not want to watch at all.

I've had a couple long streaks end with no streams missed; going back into the vods, I can see myself chatting in every stream, including the ones I've "missed".
I'd rather this not even be a thing if there's a chance for it to get messed up so frequently like this. Like, what's even the point? Very disappointing.
Edit: I've also contacted support and gotten the same boilerplate copy/paste answer that DegnaRed got. The irony is that I even mod the channel where these long streaks were broken! I never miss a stream.
