CEO Dan Clancy addresses the return of Moments: https://clips.twitch.tv/BlightedSucculentSalsifyDogFace-gTf40mIrkIXsWzYS
That's no excuse. It's entirely the platform's fault that DOESN'T KNOW how to promote its good tools. His approach is pathetic, because the point of the issue was never the efficiency of the platform, but rather the carelessness they had with a good tool for the community. Recently in a conversation with streamers from Brazil, the CEO said that the community is the channels' greatest asset, but it is nothing more than empty words, because when you see tools like moments being diluted due to the platform's incompetence, you see that the focus is only money. Which, ironically, makes the dilution of moments even more disastrous as it was a chance for channels to get more loyalty, subs, donations and so on. All they had to do was disclose it correctly, it was the only problem in the whole situation. Twitch treats the user like an idiot.
