The new ps5 update is so weird first of all you say it should be a “viewer-only" experience but the mobile app shows alot more content (vods-playlist etc..) and one of the most important things to view is chat even if you don’t interact with it and only read it still is a big part of being in a vod,Also the past version was so bad design wise and personally i like the new design and appreciate that the player is alot more flexible in skipping and rewinding but if you want to skip to an exact part you will stop 2 hours ahead its just too fast also the ps5 remote control play rewind and forward buttons are literally useless in the app now and you could only interact using the right left and ok buttons, The app seems a bit smother but of course everything is comparing to the older versions, the streamers page is organised oddly for example “recent broadcasts” and “all videos” is literally the same thing i really hate that it shows only a certain number (12) of vods despite number of vods the streamer put in a playlist, the chat was never right before emotes lagging gif emotes freezing deleted messages show for an instant in vods instead of not showing at all, design is good organising isn’t the limiting is painful media player is smother fix controls for ps5 remote control ,also we need “continue watching” back.
