Guys and Gals at Twitch, this is the most popular thread you have and it is pretty evident this new update was a failure..please revert and maybe re tool it to be more functional...but the being able to chat on console needs to come back. Having to use your phone to use QR codes is pretty ridiculous and a bad idea, especially if you are trying to innovate forward. If I wanted to use my phone to view, I would just use the mobile app...but I like throwing my stream up on my big screen, turning my phone off and chilling on my couch and this has ruined that experience completely. PLEASE revert until you come up with a better product for console. There is plenty of room for console improvement like more chat options and more customization but this was a GIANT step backwards. I bet if you showed this to somebody that has never used either app before on console they would think the new one is the Version 1 and the old version was the updated newer version. I am not kidding LOL

If nothing else, at least, give us a choice to use the older version or the newer version... this new version is absolutely unusable it forces you to use your phone. If I'm going to use my phone, I might as well just use the app on my phone. I use the old console app for a reason because I like it in the way it works on television, it was so simple and now you have this janky duct taped mess. It's literally the Frankenstein of all apps.

Please reverted back to the previous version. This new app is an absolute failure.. using QR code to try to enter chat? The application was perfectly fine. In this new application is basically meaning I'm never going to use the console app ever again.
You are all literally talking into the void, they know the App sucks now, they are trying to push people to the mobile app by making this app worse on console. They know exactly what they are doing. I stopped watching Twitch all together from this. All you can do is just stop watching. This app is literally 10 year backwards from what it was.
