    Hello Twitch team,
    I heavily support this idea. Do you fear that it may cost too much effort checking all of the bugs reported by users? True on the one hand, but on the other hand it's a free source of information for you which you should definitley utilize.

    I could imagine a similar feature as it is present in Discord, called "mutual friends". So it could be called for Twitch "Mutual Channels", or something similar to this.

    I forgot something to add:
    There is currently a little "hype" ongoing, all big streamers are affording teleprompters which exactly do this: Soft scroll and no jumps in the chat :)

    I would love to have this chat feature, to see the chat not jumping but step-by-step smoothly scrolling from bottom to top when a new message is sent by myself or other users.

    So this means: If many many many messages are sent, it's one smooth scroll and no jumps at all.
