100% agree, even as just a consumer of content on twitch, it is very VERY frustrating when someone you watch is banned and genuinely seems to have no idea why.
I would go as far to argue that there should be full transparency for both consumers and streamers on exactly why in the specific case they were banned. Because doing it on a case-by-case basis while also being vague on how the TOS was violated only serves to foment the frustration of all parties involved. It is creating toxicity where there does not need to be toxicity.
Even if it ends up being a controversial decision, it can help set precedents for all parties that can be easily understood and applied to future situations, making the process more fair to all parties and giving the streamer the chance to learn what twitch specifically views as unacceptable behavior.
