    We announced today on Patch Notes that we will be giving all streamers access to Channel Points. We will begin rolling out in the US on 7/28 and expand globally over the course of this year.

    Huge agree.

    However it's also up to extension developers and their own personal requirements.

    There's plenty you can do with extensions without a rewards-based system, so being able to use something such as TTS without needing channel points or financial rewards (bits/cheers/donos/subs/etc) doesn't seem like something that's entirely outside the realm of possibility.
