I absolutely agree with the idea that there needs to be some sort of new team implemented to help tackle issues like these. Allow streamers to have a point of contact in cases like this or suspected cases. It is hard to know and understand what is going on behind the scenes with bans/reports and I think streamers that are starting to grow, deserve a chance to have a solid point of contact with Twitch that is not an open forum or just automated email responses.
The best example here I can recently think of is Twitch streamer Viohleta. She wanted to start streaming more frequently moving towards the next step as a streamer. For this, she was hosting her first subathon. Early into the stream she was already being harassed and received threats of being reported by random viewers. It would seem a little while later that these threats did hold some weight. This seems like the type of behavior that should be a target of more focus not only against these reporting users but also as a form of protection from this style of harassment.
