I'm a smaller streamer who's slowly worked my way to affiliate, but I feel the process took to long and can be improved. One way i can see Twitch improve is by promoting smaller streamers more promote the people that don't have many viewers so they can gain more. The promotion algorithm is very out dated and it causes a lot of newer streamers to struggle. Another way Twitch can improve with the promotion of smaller streamers is to possibly have a set amount of time for smaller streamers to be able to be noticed and appreciated where you promote any streamer who has less then 1000 followers and views on the main discover page. Something else we can do is people already know and hear about big l streamers all the time so they can just be searched up, we can promote more people and people wont be so disappointed in Twitch if the promotions were a lot more even between bigger streamers and smaller streamers. Something else that needs to be changed is console streamers should be able to manage their content the same as Pc players for example overlays, console streamers are only allowed to us to have a overlay is through extensions which isn't very fair is our streams don't look appealing and we cant make it eye catching people wont want to click on our content. Not only that but having smaller streamers being promoted will cause people to make them bigger making more money for us as well as you yourselves. There are a lot of things both from a business stand point as well as a consumer stand point that hasn't been looked at, and there are a lot of ideas that will be soon to come. Hopefully this will be reviewed and the opportunities ahead of us will be realized and put into motion
