Twitch offers the ability to export VODs over to YouTube, but as I am finding, the option to "Split the video into 15 minute segments" is not functioning correctly. Especially for post-stream editing, having a 4 hour VOD segmented into 16 quarter hour chunks is far easier to work with. And any desync caused by downloading the stream in one video is completely negated.
Unfortunately, both of my recent streams I exported - with the option to split ticked - only uploaded the full VOD to YouTube, single video, near four hours. And I'm not sure how the splitting process goes exactly, but it suggests the split is supposed to happen on YouTube's end.
If there was a way the splitting process could happen on the Twitch VOD itself, and export each segment one at a time, it could fix the problem.
