At this point it's disgusting how money hungry the platform has become. I can guarantee the vast majority of viewers feel the same way... twitch shows more ads than even HULU OR ANY OTHER PLATFORM THAT ACTUALLY BUYS OR CREATES CONTENT. It's abhorrent how twitch thinks showing ads every 5 minutes is a reasonable path to monetization.
Yes, I get the creators can choose to show ads or whatnot. You as the platform, need to step up moderating the ad usage. As a viewer I don't want to 1) watch a unskippable 30 second ad whenever I tune into a new stream 2) watch the same almonds ad 300 times in a row 3) get 5 ads in a row at some random time (how the **** is this a thing - I'm not watching the gd super bowl).
