Just putting it out there-- I'm a cis woman but do you know how many awkward situations I could have avoided if people could see my pronouns by my name on twitch? Anytime I visit a new channel, most people just call me "dude" or "man" and, just, I don't know. It'd be nice to have the option. When I stream, I'd prefer to gender viewers properly, too.
Inclusivity is great and highly desirable, and I'm obvs all for it! In my opinion, it sort of feels like common sense that it should already be a feature! It's extremely helpful!An error occurred while saving the comment NiveusSol

If you want to support your Twitch Streamers, literally EVERYONE uses SOME kind of Pronouns! Please implement this, because it's a sure-fire way to make a lot of people happy! It'd be so nice to have so I can have the best chance to never mis-gender anyone!

Artists work hard, and our work has intrinsic value simply by existing, having been created by people. Image "AI" generation is a blatant slap in the face to artists across the service. If Twitch wants to show it cares about the various communities on this platform, it can start by using assets made by people, for people; compensating people for the real creation of these assets; and committing to supporting real art and artists in the long-term.
