I had an idea regarding the whole DMCA situation going on at the moment. The main portion of the problem is broadcasting music that is copyrighted, however if streamers didn't broadcast music but broadcasted the song name, timestamp etc, at any given time and users could access the given song on their own devices via a browser extension using youtube or spotify API. Just an idea I had was also wondering if this would be a work around the whole situation.
