Hi, I know that this is a very late response, but we’re hoping to find time to address this issue later this year. There are a few steps we’ll have to take to solve this problem in a way that will work for all streamers, but we understand the severity of the issue.

Implementing comments, like, and dislike buttons on VODs, along with adjusting your algorithm will allow smaller streamers (and everyone, really) to grow.
Right now, channels only grow if they have large numbers of viewers and people chatting. This is not at all condusive to newer and smaller streamers as there is simply no way to grow without a massive amount of work outside of Twitch.
Implementing comments and like and dislike buttons on past broadcasts *and counting those likes and dislikes and comments in your algorithm* will allow streamers to grow and expand their reach.
More growth on smaller streamers mean they reach affiliate faster which, in turn, means more revenue for Twitch via subscriptions. Whatever costs are associated with implementing comments, likes and dislikes on past broadcasts will be offset, and exceeded, by the revenue generated from more streamers getting to affiliate and partner.
Twitch should seriously consider this idea.

There is a workaround for this. Create a browser source layer in your scene and copy the url for your alert donations, be they from Streamlabs or Stream Elements or whatever, and paste that url into the browser source.
Note that Twitch Studio doesn't support right clicking to paste, so you'll need to use Ctrl + V to paste it into your browser source.
Hope this helps.
