Bumping this. We now know these analytics are what "...your viewers spent x% of their watch time watching these categories over the past 7 days".
Again, this is not useful for trends and major game releases. A recent example or two: Stray is a 5-10 single-player game about a cat. It blew up for about a week. In this case, you would only know your viewers possibly stopped watching you and started watching a major new game an entire week later. This is far too long.
At a minimum, we need a rolling daily update to this. (It seems like it only updates once every 7 days). But the ideal would be a view of the last 24 hours to help you identify trending directories and games before it's too late.

Yea, it would be good to know the reasons why it's not set to longer. From a streamer's perspective it should be: more than enough time. For many, it takes hours or 10 hours to gain the viewership. So why is it set to be a race? Feels like it should be at least 5 mins given for many it means restarting a computer, restarting a router, etc.

I'm surprised this feature hasn't evolved at all. I was going to submit the same idea. It's hard to understand the reason(s) it's not longer in the first place. It seems more designed for a professional broadcast control room, than it does Twitch Creators at home scrambling to communicate to chat they're coming back online -- while also trying to actually get back online, usually with a restart or other complicated issues.

This started happening to me as well. Seemingly it has something to do with the Twitch VOD track choices, perhaps some confusion upon reconnect. I believe I used to use Twitch VOD Track 1, but this started happening upon using Track 6.

Another additional note on the need to understand what "viewers" are defined as, and possibly dissecting that a bit. I often wonder: if I get a big raid does that affect the "categories your viewers watch" data? This would be more dramatic if a larger streamer community raids a smaller one. For example, let's say I barely play Minecraft. But I get raided by a community 5x my size. Could that single raid suddenly make Minecraft show up on my categories data, or are those people not considered viewers unless they followed? Or came back more than once?
