Came here to post the same suggestion. Literally needed just 30 more seconds, but the stream complete restarted on it's own and I lost about half the viewers I had (including many hosts) because they may be afk and don't see it to need to refresh. Please increase the "Disconnect Protection" to account for PC, Modem and Router reboots which take a bit longer than 90 seconds most times.

Just hit the 101 and ran into this problem. 3 years later and still not addressed?
It's been 4 years (3 since my reply below) and this really needs to be addressed and added to twitch. More comments coming in below every year shows this is a common issue that can be an easy resolve. Not everyone can get back up in running in 90 seconds after an outage, bluescreen, or internet reboot. Please increate the Disconnect Protection, it can help a ton.
