Hey!
I can confirm this is definitely in the works. When we switched to Twitch logins after the acquisition we had to terminate our own user upload feature for safety and privacy reasons. The current plan is to add the ability to sync your IGDB profile Avatar & Banners with your Twitch profile, so it would be one seamless account across both.
Adding extra to the profile itself is something we very much would like to do, some work has even already put into this. Unfortunately however this isn’t currently on our roadmap and priority list for the short term. But soon!

This is a good idea for sure, we've talked about looking at patch notes and updates for games, but it's a bit tricky as there aren;t dedicated sources and also it can vary greatly between new game updates (say, League of Legends new Champions) to simple bug fixes.
Something we would investigate in the future likely.

So, we actually used to have Tool Tips on our game edits, specifically for the Franchise and Series field.
This feature broke at some point during our infrastructure migration post-acquisition, and disabled it.
Now, we absolutely would like to bring this back indeed, and expand to more fields. As we are not constantly adding new data points and are putting a big focus right now on our contribution tools this is an excellent suggestion.
We’ll take a look at the best places to implement them!

Hey!
First of all thanks a lot for putting this table together, this for sure will become handy when we research this further.
We’ve been wanting to revamp our Genres/Themes/Keywords for a while, it’s a fairly big undertaking that implies a taxonomy upgrade.
We’ve discussed making use of a sub categories to avoid redundancy and more accuracy for example.While this isn’t on our radar just yet, i would say it is pretty high up our list of feature upgrade. We’ll keep in touch when we start this project!

Hey! We have a on-site notification for game releases on the day currently, but not via email.
A change in release date (for unreleased games) if a good idea though!

Hey! Excellent suggestion, in fact we have something very similar in our Backlog already, with a ‘inherit data from parent’ feature.
It’s just at an idea stage for now, but we’ll look into planning in in accordance with our roadmap as soon as possible.

Hello!
We used to have a Price Comparison feature on game pages at some point, but this was a few years ago and we disabled this feature since as we changed our business model. If this is what you mean?
Currently we don't have any plans to add this on the website, but this is of course a data point we are interested in providing at a later date, especially via our API.
If we do return to this we'll be notifying the community of course, stay tuned!

Heya!
We are already able to categorize games as such with a combination or Genre/Theme/Keywords, however we do intend to do a full overhaul of our tagging system at some point in the future. No ETA yet but we'll notify the community once that happens.thanks!

Hey! Do you mean something entirely different from the default Rated list? On this default list we do display the user ratings. You're suggesting to add the same to custom list?

Hey! we had a chat about this internally and landed on the fact it could become problematic, so we wanted to double check your suggestion in more details.
How would we define the order within a series? As this could be seen either as chronologically by release, or by story.For example, MGS3 being the first one in the story, yet the 3rd one by release date. This could prove very divisive either way.
Another issue that could be problematic are differences in the order by region. Final Fantasy is an infamous case, where FFVI was released as FFIII in North America for example.
Was this the sort of approach you had in mind with such a feature? Let us know :)

Hey there!
I just checked and custom lists do seem to load on mobile. was there something specific you were trying to access?
As for apps, we do not have them anymore and currently don't have any short term plan for making new ones unfortunately.
