What if streamers could set Reminders during a live stream?
🎯 You’d pick a time + title — viewers could click to register interest.
🔔 When that moment hits, Twitch sends a pull-back notification to everyone who opted in (even if they’ve left the stream).
📅 Perfect for big announcements, reveals, or special moments.
Bonus: a manual reminder feature could let creators ping followers at key times too.
This would turn “see you later” moments into real-time re-engagement opportunities.

I get wanting control over your channel. Nobody likes feeling something’s being pushed on them.
But treating every AI feature like a threat and demanding it starts turned off by default is how platforms stagnate. The best tools in streaming history didn’t wait for permission. They showed up, people tried them, and the ones that actually helped stuck. The ones that didn’t got ignored.
AI is just the next set of tools. Some of it will be mid. Some of it will save creators hours every week and open up stuff we couldn’t do before. The only way we find out which is which is if the features actually exist and people can try them.
Keep building. Keep shipping. Use AI to make the next features better and faster. Let the ones that suck die naturally. But don’t slow the whole platform down just so nobody ever has to click a button.
Streaming moves forward or it gets left behind. I’d rather we lead.
