Wow. I was thinking this was an incredibly simple function, and was honestly surprised it was not already implemented O_O. I am a relatively new streamer, and I am 100% in favour of people being able to block my channel if it doesn't suit their fancy. I really am okay with that, and wish to have the ability to block certain streams from showing up on my dash every time I log into my account.
@Twitch, Please. This is a function that should have been in place since day one. It appears this request has been continuously being made for years now. I have a few friends who have left Twitch, and I am honestly starting to see why. I think this one, tiny correction to user functions would make a world of difference to users who are constantly being shown things on their personal profiles that they have no desire to see. From a business standpoint, you would likely notice a rise in viewership, as opposed to a fall. Suggest channels to people based on what they have actually shown an interest in. I've seen quite a few channels on my "suggestions" list, and so far, not a single one of them has a solitary thing to do with ANY of the things i am interested in. In fact the majority of them have me searching for a "block" function, until today when I discovered that for some reason, devoid of all possible logic. This function does not exist on the Twitch platform. @Twitch, that, friends, is a problem.
