After hearing that the setting was set to auto opt in because ~otherwise no one would opt in~ because you *know* that people don't want this, I have already passed up on two hype trains now because it would involve giving you money by buying bits/subs and I am considering breaking ALL of my streaks and not watching anymore at all because I can't support that. I am about to go and cancel my two current subscriptions as well and I may start closing streams anytime an ad starts to avoid even giving any ad revenue.

I am going to be beyond crushed if I have to leave twitch because its owners decided to immolate it and all of my favorite streamers jump ship. This is an awful idea and Twitch needs to abort this endeavor entirely ASAP because you are going to tear apart communities.

Do not add GenAI!! It is not going to be popular at all among your art, makers and crafters community OR a significant chunk of your gaming community and you will potentially lose a chunk of your base just by using it... and any new AI features at all should not be forced on creators who do not want to participate in them, so all AI needs to be set to opt-out as the default. Please listen to us, Twitch...

I am about to uninstall this app and possibly even delete my account over this. I am seriously considering it. If this isn't rectified, I will be stopping any and all participation in trains, gifting, cheering and ads and possibly even the service itself due to this decision. The constant abuse of the userbase, including the creators that make this platform , has GOT to stop. This is about to be the last straw for me. Even if the AI decision is reversed, if this decision isn't also reversed I will be dropping all support and until it is reversed I am withholding my wallet because this is unconscionable. For shame.
