    @Zladk0 I'm on 27.4, US region. Let me clarify, chat overlay functionality is still present but can be turned off.

    1. Open stream in landscape mode.
    2. Open "Options" by touching Cog icon in top right.
    3. Uncheck "Chat overlay".

    Now double tapping will only switch between "Column Chat" and "No Chat" modes. Previously "No Chat" mode would still overlay 4 icons but not anymore.

    This appears to be fixed and icons are hidden now. At least on iOS.
