Unfortunately, at this point I just have to put it into words what really bothers me about the Twitch mobile app developers.
I should point out that the following words can be very harsh, but they describe my feelings about the mobile app.
I feel like a victim who is greeted with the words Work makes you free, which used to mean coercion and lack of rights. The behaviour of the app developers therefore looks to me like those who support the ‘Arbeit Macht Frei’ motto of Auschwitz by simply presenting users with something they don't want or have never asked for. But apparently companies with an American background no longer like the freedom to let users decide what they want, because dictatorship is always better than democracy.
I would love to talk about a different feeling, but at the moment I can't, because it's up to the ivory tower developers to improve it. But I don't trust these people, provided they are human beings and not an AI.
In general, I think Twitch's communication with its users and customers could be improved.
