This is, frankly, unacceptable.
It is disrespectful to everyone you have chosen to represent with these images. It shows a clear lack consideration for those who use your platform both through a lack of effort, and a lack of consideration.
This lack is transparent to everyone who even looks at these images, and I would even doubt that there was ANY review done before applying these sweeping changes. None.
For example, how could anyone look at the new Food and Drink picture and think that is a good idea? It is a red picture on a red background. It's an old and outdated text style. Its celery sticking up out of a jello mold - that is not what food looks like!
And how could any artist appreciate the picture used to represent them? You represent them with the most generic looking image of a painting, and slap on the most generic of texts. The only way it could be considered art at all is if it was an intentional piece on sarcasm!
It's not representative, it's not quirky, it's not funny...it's rude, it's upsetting, and it's wrong. Fix it.
