I have ethical concerns and IP concerns of course, but I don't think those will hold water with the people who make the decisions about whether these features are implemented or not, so I will speak to you in terms I think you will understand.
I understand the American GDP is tied up in Generative AI becoming ubiquitous, and that makes companies (especially tech and tech adjacent companies) believe that it is the future. That's turned GenAI into a sort of self-reinforcing loop- just look at Spotify. They created AI artists whose only listeners are also AI. Hypothetically that could go on forever, but advertisers will realize the interactions are fake, that they don't generate revenue, and there's only so much management and marketing can say before the advertisers decide it's not worth it to advertise on the platform because there are no conversions.
It may not be all at once, but Twitch will bleed money until nothing but the GenAI bots are left. Think past your next quarter and do not implement this change.

I work in content review for advertising. I understand why Twitch wants to mark advocacy for human rights as a sensitive issue- though I disagree with the likely reasoning.
The fact remains that bad actors are already using this bullet point to harass and report streamers for their existence, and those streamers are being punished.
Twitch you cannot have both Stream with Pride and a bullet point classifying LGBTQ+ issues as sensitive political topics. I shouldn't have to be the one to explain this, but with the amount of discrimination and hate people in the community face it would be impossible to talk about daily lived experiences without also sounding like advocacy.
I hope you can see from how many comments you've already gotten that this the middle road of trying to clarify the rule has only made Twitch's public image worse. Remove the bullet point altogether and save yourselves from further reputation damage.

If you want human creators on this platform this needs to be opt in and off by default, or not introduced at all. Opt out might make initial adoption rates look good in the short term, but retention rates for both the feature and the site as a whole will suffer.
I understand a company like Twitch and its parent company Amazon are more interested in marketshare than profit, because in the long run marketshare and brand recognition will give you a monopoly without necessarily having a legal monopoly by US law. I also understand that means there is a lot of money going into training an AI to stream instead of a human, since an AI costs pennies when the training data is stolen (opt out features are not consent in the common understanding, even if there are legal protections buried on the terms of use) and the AI doesn't take a share of profits, it only requires the cost of building and maintaining the buildings. I'll bet that sounds like a great financial move on paper for both short term savings and long term profit. I bet that's all anyone at the top sees, but mark my words: you will make less money overall and you will lose the human creators who keep this business running so there will be nothing to fall back on when the money runs out.
