As a customer, this is the first time I've ever felt the need to provide critical feedback for a product because usually if I don't like the product I don't buy it or I unsubscribe from it. But I've spent so long on Twitch watching streams with a lot of my favorite creators that I feel it's necessary to comment for their sake on this latest mobile update.
This feed is not something I want personally. I respect that it's trying to be a solution to pre-roll advertisements. So if you want it in the app, fine. But why eliminate the previous home screen? The old home screen had a list of my active followed streams, and many recommendations of other unfollowed streams and games. It was one screen that did everything your new feed is trying to do in 50 screens that all load separately. Why force one without the other, when we could have had both? It doesn't make sense.
I like Twitch and the communities it fosters, but this mobile app is such a downgrade that I will no longer be using it until changes are made. Thank you for reading.
