This keeps me from putting any money into a twitch subscription or turbo.
As a customer I would feel like you treat me extremely poorly if you keep nagging with this pop up witch is a MAJOR annoyance, despite paying full price for a membership. I get this message that blocks the entire screen EVERY SINGLE DAY. At least once a day and it needs to be addressed can’t click to the side to dismiss it and never ever takes no for an answer.
There used to be a toggle for this “notify me about updates” in the settings, but for some reason this got removed? I liked that version best. No issues, no nagging and it still had the mini player when you swiped down on a stream ( instead of the new horrible PiP that you can’t turn off!!) and want to keep using that. Nagging won’t make me update. It will make me refrain from using the app and sticking to desktop. It’s driving me insane and I can’t imagine paying for a service that does this to me ( which is a shame since I was about to starting one). I know a lot of people feel this way but does not reach out to Twitch about this.
Please bring back the toggle!
