Additionally, lazy loading plays catch-up, so the emotes that were already loaded beforehand slowly pick up after being scrolled into view.
There is no visual indication on emotes being loaded.
Originally described issue also transfers to chatting badges

I find that pinching to zoom makes the layout switch[1] as well as resetting position.
It appears rarely attempts to check feedback, so here’s a workaround:
Start zooming in with 2 fingers, release one finger and immediately readjust position. I find that to work often enough for it to count a workaround.

Side note, the feedback comment box is… less than… polished, typed content gets cut off. I’m sorry, but this tells about the attention to detail…
