This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

I often lurk in streams but Moments encourage me to chat more - the hype is too good to miss out on! Plus, I've found that I'm watching streamers in the beta longer and more often than I did before. Moments are a fun way for communities to interact with the streamer and experience hype moments together. The potential of this feature to increase engagement is phenomenal. Removing Moments will be a mistake.

App opens to a random stream - it cannot be paused, muted, or closed. This discourages opening the app.
Streams can no longer be minimised to browse and see what other streamers are doing while watching. Instead, it closes the chosen stream and returns to that random auto-play stream. This discourages browsing.
'Following' page has gone. Instead, there is a tiny tab that lists live followed streamers, but there are no longer any stats or info - no title, no thumbnail, etc. It can only be viewed while that random auto-play stream plays. This discourages browsing.
Please bring back the app opening to the 'following' tab with no randomly selected auto-play streams.
Please place these randomly selected auto-play streams back onto the feed tab. If people want to see them, they will use the tab.
Mobile app used to be my primary method of watching streams. Everything about this update discourages me from even opening it unless via a notification that takes me directly to a stream I want to watch. Now, I open Youtube app instead. They let me choose what I watch.
