That explains why I sometimes notice audio stutters on streams when I play games and have streams in the background. It's probably the stream adjusting quality around.
Frankly seems nothing has changed since 2020.This whole "forum" seems dead too.

Another example.
This the kind of pops/clicks I keep hearing from all kinds of streamers.
Again I hear this on 2 seperate devices (pc/phone)An error occurred while saving the comment wiseOldDude commented
As a reminder I hear them on 2 different pc's and a phone with 2 different headphones.Wear a headphone and give the links a listen.
I've even asked in other threads on reddit if they can hear them and some people have replied they can hear them even if barely in a couple of them.(some of them are pretty obvious tho)

I wonder if this is whats causing the occasional wierd audio clicks/pops.I usually have a stream in the background so it could also be caused because twitch lowers audio quality when a video is in the background.

Dude this forums is useless.Rarely anyone get's helped.
I'm pretty sure they did something this year where they made sound drop further in quality when not in focus. It either becomes a bit tinny or random pops/clicks start to happen when not in front.
They're probably trying to cheap out on bandwidth or something just like how they axed korea from certain stuff.
Sad thing is this thread will be 4 years old soon and nothing is being done.
