    We have heard the feedback in this idea & its comments and reworked chat replies  to reduce noise. By allowing users to reply directly to a specific message in a thread, only the user being responded to will be @'ed, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread.     Why hasn’t this been fixed yet? This is obviously artificial scarcity at work. It’s a dirty, pathetic, shameful trick to pull.

    Honestly, at this point, I think the only way to get Twitch to listen is to go on a sub strike and support streamers through tipping only.
