I agree with this 100%. Streaming D&D weekly and in-depth RPG video games 3x each week, it makes it very hard to figure out what to do to try and overcome organic on-platform growth issues. I get raids on my channel occasionally during D&D, and most of the people that come over end up leaving due to pre-rolls.
I'm trying to turn these off, only to find the most time I can get ad-free is 30 minutes, which is nothing in a game with 5 players. I'd much rather play 3 min of ads at the top of the stream while waiting to start and doing intros, then take a 3 min break every hour for minimal interruption to the game as well as the health and biological needs of the players!
