Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. I've lost track of how many channels I have simply closed because I couldn't face another advert.
If the intention is to increase revenue it's failing miserably. It's especially annoying to raid a new channel and completely miss the welcome and surprise of meeting a new streamer because of adverts. By the time the adverts have cleared the streamer has finished introducing themselves and explaining what sort of content to expect.
