I just want to echo Schtolteheim's comment -- please consider the harm this does to the legacy of speedrunning communities and history. Twitch has a responsibility to preserve this history and execute a rollout like this more responsibly to allow preservation of important moments in speedrunning history which don't exist anywhere except on Twitch.

Please add the option to disable this. Like many other streamers who have provided feedback here, I don't like being forced to decide between the possibility of someone in chat obnoxiously disrupting my stream with these powerups or the possibility that someone accidentally actually spends 10k bits despite me trying to disincentivize anyone from using the redemption.
The obviousness of this being a cash grab for Twitch by making it mandatory and obstructing bit rewards is all very gross, which of course everyone realizes. Having the toggle option would make it clear which streamers are glad for the feature and might provide a better permission structure for people to actually use it in the right circumstances.

Most of us are streaming on Twitch to have fun with our friends, and y'all get to have revenue from ads and subs. If, in your relentless quest for revenue growth, you keep adding extractive ****, make it harder and harder to just have fun here, and force AI that makes streaming here an immoral choice, then you've gotta understand that we're gonna decide to actually have fun somewhere else. ...not that I expect anyone with decision making power at Twitch / Amazon to read or for two seconds thoughtfully consider feedback from the people their business actually relies on. But I'm just sayin...ya could exercise real discretion and decide to do something that doesn't absolutely suck. Twitch used to do cool **** sometimes.
