This is an excellent idea, I came here to suggest this exact thing. I dislike my viewers missing content because of ads, so I run three minutes every hour and take a break so they never miss anything. Running ads twice an hour is excessive for breaks and breaks up the flow of a lot of the more narrative- and horror-based games that I play.
I have no problem running three minutes an hour, please let us disable pre-rolls for that hour! Otherwise this feels like an all-or-nothing scenario for me, and I'll just end up disabling ads completely.
