The help page on this topic (link at bottom of this comment) is extremely unclear, and like others are saying, appears to not actually work.
Worse, in trying to block Amouranth's filthy channel from showing up, I ended up loading her page while she was live, so now I need to go and buy a bottle of eye and brain disinfectant.https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/Removing-recommendations-you-are-not-interested-in?language=en_US

Hang on guys... I actually found it! The 3 button thing is real, and has "not interested"... But it's only on this one page - maybe the help page should contain a link to this URL:

Edit: And get this... It only works if you leave it sorted by "recommended for you". Sort it by high to low or change to a category like IRL, and the 3 dots all go away... It's almost as if they don't actually want you to block the bikini streamers.
